The Sumners Foundation is pleased to announce that the application process for At-Large Sumners Scholarships is now open for rising juniors for their junior and senior years at a Texas or Oklahoma College or University. Scholarships are $15,000/year for each of those last two years of undergraduate work ($30,000 total).

Essentially, the Sumners Foundation is looking for students who in their vocation or avocation will help to further the democratic process – they might be pre-law majors, maybe they are pursuing an education degree because they want to teach government, or maybe they are involved in the political process by helping run campaigns, serving on city committees, or just generally changing the world!
The application for the At-Large Sumners Scholarship can be found on: www.sumnersfoundation.org. The application deadline is April 19, 2021. The pool of applications will be narrowed down and interviews will be conducted via Zoom in the spring semester of 2021.
