EPA's Adele Cardenas spoke to Early College HS students on Friday, Dec. 13th


241 students listened to Mrs. Cardenas throughout the day. She currently works as the Senior Policy Advisor to the Water Division Director. She will be retiring at the end of 2019 with 33 years at the EPA in her back pocket.


She spoke about how the EPA's initiatives change with the presidential administration, and how she worked closely with the White House to form green initiatives every term. She also spoke about what students can do to become active in environmental groups, both government and NGO organizations
