On September 15, 1963, a bomb planted by Ku Klux Klan members exploded at the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama during church services. Four young girls were killed; Dale Long, who was eleven at the time, was among the survivors. Join our friends at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum on April 15 to hear Mr. Long share his memories of this tragic act of hate, his experiences as a young African American man in Birmingham, and more.
