LAWACTH Student Program — How Gen Z Can Shape the Future of Technology

On February 12th, 2021, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council & Town Hall will host a program for high school students on “Educational Technology.” Led by Professor of Education and Informatics at UC Irvine, Mark, Warschauer, this program will give students access to experts in the EdTech fields of Robotics, Digital Storytelling, Virtual Reality Language Learning, and more. Students will receive presentations on the speakers’ remarkable TechEd projects, and hear about what inspired them to enter their field, what skills best served their careers and areas of interest in STEM, and how youth can play a role in the evolving fields of technology and education.
